Dealing With Back Acne.
Facial acne is readily common in teenagers and is classed more severe amongst adults and teenagers alike . Back acne or body acne in my opinion is just as cruel to the skin as any , It appears on the back and hips at times .It is quite stubborn, in some very severe cases many nodules and cysts appear on the back causing inflammation and a high pain threshold, in many ways many people who suffer this ailment would agree, that it is a more irritating skin disease .
What causes acne?
What causes acne is simple as this, like acne on the face it is hereditary in nature, and the imbalance in mostly teenagers with hormones at there peek . In my opinion tight fitting clothes play a major part in causing acne. Perspiration happens at a fast rate ,for physically active people it is a nightmare because the tight fitting clothes doesn't allow the perspiration to evaporate easily, this mixture of sweat and oil, which is produced by the sebaceous glands cause the pores to clog and that is acne . So take a shower when you return from training or any sport that is highly active .
How to treat back acne.
If the acne is of a severe nature you may visit you local G.P where you maybe prescribed with antibiotics like tetracycline . To me the skin is much harder in the back area as appose to facial skin . Accordingly there is a more vigorous treatment for acne on the back or in the chest arrea.
This includes the use of products like retin which is a type of cream or you might use a body wash that is 10 per-cent benyzol peroxide, in more server cases accutane is used in much higher doses than you might use in facial acne .
Back acne prevention
To prevent acne on the back you must use clothes that are made of wool and you can also use talcum powder to keep the skin dry . Anti-perspirants can also be used although not when you are too warm and sweating a lot , because sweating is a must do in order to cool the body, not doing so may harm you .
Take into account your cleanliness night or day, always shower after sweating, and make a point of changing your shirt at least twice a day. Stick to these points I have spoken about in this article and you will do just fine.
